Naxos, Undiscovered Yet Beautiful

Naxos is one of the few Greek islands that still remain undiscovered by the tourists, for no good reason. Home of Greek myths like that of Ariadne and her wedding to Dionysus or Zeus being raised in a cave on mount Zas, Naxos is the largest island of the Cyclades, full of wonderful sandy beaches, such as Agios Georgios, Agios Prokopios and Agia Anna. Hora, the capital of Naxos, is a charming city that combines intense nightlife and tradition, with the brightest example of the temple of Apollo and Kastro (means castle). Naxos even produces its own local drink, Kitro of Naxos.
