City:(Chios) Chios, as Scenic as BeautifulChios is not a popular destination, due to the fact that it’s awkwardly situated on the ferry routes. Therefore, Chios attracts mostly curious tourists, who find it deserved their attention. After all, the world-heritage listed Nea Moni, a beautiful monastery, the Korai Library and most importantly the graphic and intrinsic mastic villages where the famous Chios gum mastic is produced, are more than enough reasons to love Chios! Said to be the birthplace of Homer, Chios also offers Kastro for you to visit, a Byzantine foundation, three museums and some beautiful beaches, such as Karfas and Mavra Volia. |
